YAHUDA (LEIB) PERVIN

(1865 - 1945)

 The first generation of the Pervin family.  Father of Max, Leon, Joseph, Bella and Dora Pervin.  In the passenger list of the "Finland" he is listed as Leissa Perwak.

 According to his obituary posted in the Toledo Times, on Thurday, May 24, 1945, it reads "Laib Pervin, 82, lifelong resident of Toledo died yesterday, in his home, 2121 North Thirteenth Street.  Surviving are his wife Brame: sons Max, Leon, and Joseph, all of Toledo: daughters, Mrs. Harry Dusman, Detroit and Mrs. B. Galpern, New York City, : six grand-children, and one great-grandchild.  Service will be today at 2.00 p.m. in the Zimmerman mortuary.  Burial will be Eagle Point cemetery."
